Girl Scout Week is March 11 – 17!
Starting with Girl Scout Sunday and ending with Girl Scout Sabbath, Girl Scout week is an opportunity to reflect on what it means to be a Girl Scout. In celebration of this special Girl Scout tradition, we’ve put together a list of recommended activities that will make your Girl Scout week extra special.
Sunday, March 11 – Girl Scout Sunday –
Earn the My
Promise, My Faith
award. Find a quiet, peaceful place to think about all of the things you are
grateful for.
Monday, March 12 - We're 106 years old
today! Girl Scout Birthday - wear your vest to school on Girl Scout Birthday,
March 12. Host your own Girl Scout Birthday Party to celebrate and bake a cake
with your troop! Send us a photo of your Girl Scout spirit to media@girlscoutsccc.org Check out Girl Scout history.
Wednesday, March 14 – Community Service Day
– plan to do a good turn at home, or in your community. (i.e. do household
chores, volunteer, recycle, donate old clothes, etc.)
Thursday, March 15 – Virtual
S.W.A.P. day. Send us a photo or draw your Girl Scout S.W.A.P. idea and send to
media@girlscoutsccc.org for us to share. This
will get you ready for camp!
Friday, March 16 – Get outside today!
Juliette Gordon Low, our founder, loved the outdoors! Play games, go
geocaching, explore your backyard, go on a hike, or have another outdoor
adventure for at least 30 minutes.
Saturday, March 17 – Girl Scout Sabbath.
Commit two random acts of kindness. Write a note or letter to a friend to let
her know that you appreciate her! 😊
