Girl Scout Action Alert: Sign Our Petition to Name the Savannah Bridge in Honor of Juliette Gordon Low!

Elevate the legacy of Girl Scouts’ founder—sign our petition to support renaming the Talmadge Memorial Bridge in Savannah after Juliette Gordon Low. There are so many reasons this iconic bridge should honor our go-getting founder!

As the founder of Girl Scouts, Juliette Gordon Low has had an extraordinary influence on the lives of millions of girls across the United States for more than a century. Please sign our petition to rename the Savannah Bridge in her honor.

On September 28, 2017, the Savannah City Council passed a resolution proposing that the state of Georgia rename the Talmadge Memorial Bridge to “the Savannah Bridge” to be more inclusive and reflective of modern Georgia.

To pay homage to Girl Scouts’ legendary leader, we ask you to sign our petition, which we will send to the Georgia General Assembly and Governor Nathan Deal. The petition supports renaming the Savannah Bridge after Juliette Gordon Low and recognizes her for leaving an enduring legacy through Girl Scouts, an organization that prepares girls to be the unstoppable, successful female leaders of tomorrow.

The petition will be hand delivered to members of the Georgia General Assembly and the governor by Girl Scouts from throughout the state.

Take action now! We need your support. When you sign the petition below, you will join thousands in the Girl Scout Movement who are proud of Juliette Gordon Low’s amazing story and her effect on the lives of Girl Scouts’ 2.6 million members and 59 million alumnae.
