Warm Welcome to New Staff!
Amanda Hofmann-Handy is joining the Program and Volunteer Services team as the Manager of Outdoor Experience and STEM. She will be working out of Camp Arnaz. Amanda holds a degree in Environmental Studies, and has a strong background in zoology, conservation, and biodiversity. She is an avid outdoors woman; enjoying both camping and horticulture. Amanda has created and delivered combined discipline and STEM educational programing for over a decade. Amanda comes from a long line of Girl Scouts and is "over the moon" to be working here. On her first day, she was held captive by a family of deer grazing outside her Arnaz office door. Life doesn't get much better!

CREATING CAMP ARTEMIS SOUTH - Volunteers Needed! Camp Artemis and Artemis Leadership Training Adventure (ALTA) are the two parts of an exciting and innovative outdoor leadership program of the Girl Scouts of California's Central Coast.
Due to the demand, GSCCC is interested in establishing a second Camp Artemis in the southern part of our council by 2017. We cannot do this without dedicated adult volunteers.
