Gluten Free Orders Due September 27

The 2016 Gluten Free Cookie Program
Yay! Gluten Free Trios are coming back!
Once again, the demand for gluten free options in our cookies increased last year and we are bringing back the gluten free Trios cookie.

In order to participate, your Troop order needs to be submitted by September 27.  Parents, make sure you communicate with your Troop Leader or Cookie Chair as to how many packages of gluten free Trios your Girl Scout estimates needing. Gluten Free Trios will be delivered with your regular cookie orders at the end of January.

Troop Leaders or Cookie Chairs, please submit your orders here!  Only one order per troop.  If you need more information, read details below.

Why do I need to order now?  Cookies do not start until next YEAR?
  • Due to limited gluten-free facilities and production time, ABC must have our order quantity early.
  • Troops interested in selling the gluten free Trio cookie must place their order before September 27, 2015, by completing the Participation Interest Form.
  • Only troops that order before September 27, 2015 will have gluten free Trio cookies for direct orders and booth sales.
  • Gluten free Trios will not be available in Cookie Cupboards, or Warehouses.
  • Gluten free Trios will be distributed to participating troops with their initial cookie order in January 2016.
Troops must meet the following criteria in order to participate in the gluten free program:

About the Cookie:
In the 2014-15 season, ABC was pleased to introduce a new and improved gluten free cookie made with real peanut butter, delicious chocolate chips, and certified whole grain, gluten free oats. What a treat!

September GSCCC News

Warm Welcome to New Staff!

Amanda Hofmann-Handy is joining the Program and Volunteer Services team as the Manager of Outdoor Experience and STEM. She will be working out of Camp Arnaz. Amanda holds a degree in Environmental Studies, and has a strong background in zoology, conservation, and biodiversity. She is an avid outdoors woman; enjoying both camping and horticulture. Amanda has created and delivered combined discipline and STEM educational programing for over a decade. Amanda comes from a long line of Girl Scouts and is "over the moon" to be working here. On her first day, she was held captive by a family of deer grazing outside her Arnaz office door. Life doesn't get much better!
