Good Morning GSCCC Girl Scouts,
Before you fill your tummies with a delicious feast this Thanksgiving, I just wanted to personally reach out and thank each and every one of you.
We have a beautiful community of volunteers, board members, supporters and staff, but I want you to know that we do it all for you – as a G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)TM.
I am so personally proud of all of your hard work, thoughtfulness and your dedication to Girl Scouts. You have made a powerful promise that has put you on the trajectory for a lifetime of leadership, from learning new skills to earning the Gold Award and beyond!
Every day you inspire me and I am so grateful I get to work on your behalf. I am in awe, when I see you embracing our community, being a great friend that communicates with compassion and creating one-of-a-kind innovative solutions to an array of topics.
Last week, I was joined by Dianne Belk and Lawrence Calder, longtime Girl Scout supporters, at our amazing Camp Arnaz program center giving them a tour around the property. As I walked by the rocks you painted, the camp fires you’ve gathered around and the tether ball that you’ve jumped up and hit with nothing but determination and enthusiasm – it hit me, I am most grateful for you.
Feel free to reach out with any ideas on how we can make this Girl Scout year the best ever. It’s an honor to serve as your GSCCC CEO. We will rise to meet and exceed anything in our path, it’s the Girl Scout way.
P.S. Please thank your leaders for me for all that they do!
