Brownie Troop 60644 Revisits Butterfly Garden

Troop 60644
On Tuesday, Brownie Troop 60644 revisited the butterfly garden they had planted at CAPE Charter school in Camarillo last year as part of their Daisy project. The girls--complete with shovels in hand--were there to add mulch to the garden and add new plants to attract butterflies. Last year, the Troop Leader, Lynn, attended GSCCC's Monarch Butterfly Monitoring Program at Camp Arnaz and used the training to help the girls in her troop plant a beautiful garden at the school.

It so happened that the Ventura County Star was also there to take pictures of the girls beautifying their local community as part of an upcoming story on Girl Scouts.

Way to go girls! If you have any projects you would like to share with us, please send them to media@girlscoutsccc.org
